Mezcal Copitas are small beverage cups produced by New York-based ceramicist Michiko Shimadadesigned and sold by TUYO NYC.
These Copitas are made from the finest tinted porcelain and are velvety smooth. Each one is hand-cast and individually shaped, making them unique. They measure 3.25” x 1.5” and can comfortably hold a 2 oz pour.
I worked as Michiko Shimada’s Studio assistant helping with the production and finishing of these products which included slip casting, trimming, sanding and polishing.
